Last Summer on our way to visit my brother Jared in Idaho. We stopped at a Ghost Town in Montana. It was an old gold mining town. It is Called Bannack State Park. It has a whole street of buildings you can explore and we went on a tour. In the school house there was old desks and the girls pretended to be being taught. Outside was an old style merry go round. They really liked that. It was super hot. It was very interesting. It was kind of weird to walk through peoples homes. They had one house furnished with furniture they may have had and a lady dressed in the same clothing. We asked a lot of questions they had this vacuum you would hand pump to suck up the dirt. I think sweeping would of been faster. We camped the night before at the park there. They say that you can hear babies crying and then they turn and look and there is no one there. They say the crying comes from a home that use to be a hospital and many children died there from diseases. There was also a story about a family came to visit and was in the school and little girl said to a boy that he was in her seat. He moved and then they took a picture and when they received the pictures back they realized that she was a ghost. The girls thought it was so cool. It was worth the stop and I think it was the highlight of the trip because when we came home that is what they told everyone about. So if you ever are in Montana look it up it was fun!!

15th Anniversary Trip 2012
For our Anniversary Trip Kyle found this small island with a cabin on it that the state parks owned off Whidbey Island. We had to canoe across to our awaiting spot. It was a small cabin with a futon, wood stove, kitchen, and a small table and beautiful view of the mountains. We had a great time reading, playing games and exploring Whidbey Island. It surprised us with wonderful weather. It was suppose to rain.
I was nervous about having to cross by boat, but the current wasn't that strong. We did have to haul our canoe up a large hill and Kyle broke his sandals in the process. It was a trip to remember and it was a needed break from the kids. Kyle Thanks for making this trip such a fun Trip!!

A Mission, A Mission, Aunt Alisa's on a Mission

My little Sister Left for her mission back in August. She is serving in Colorado North Mission. She has been such a great example for my girls. They all now want to serve missions. She has been out now for over 6 months and is doing well. She has had a couple of baptism. She did just recently dislocate her knee. The funny thing is she wasn't playing basketball or anything. She was working in a Soup Kitchen. So she is now on crutches and still working hard. We love our Missionary Sister Brown.

Flat Stanley
My cousin's son Wyatt's class in California was doing a Flat Stanley project for school. They mailed him to us. So we took him to several places. Poulsbo, Seattle and the Ferry. The gum wall, Pike Place, Seattle library. My kids had fun doing this project. I think Wyatt's class did too. We took pictures at all the places and sent them back with him. While he was at our house he needed to have surjery because Lilly thought it would be fun to tear him apart. Thanks to my surjery we were able to fix him up. We love Flat Stanley.
Happy New Year

This year we had a gathering at our house. Krista and Tommy came over with yummy Mexican food. Kyle did his seafood clams and fish sticks, won tons and all sorts of Yummy food. We watched some moves, played Just Dance and watched the Fireworks at the space needle. Lilly fell asleep while everyone else made it to midnight. We also had my cousins Jacob and Lynn here with us. It was a fun filled New Years. Happy New years to everyone!!
