15th Anniversary Trip 2012

For our Anniversary Trip Kyle found this small island with a cabin on it that the state parks owned off Whidbey Island. We had to canoe across to our awaiting spot. It was a small cabin with a futon, wood stove, kitchen, and a small table and beautiful view of the mountains. We had a great time reading, playing games and exploring Whidbey Island. It surprised us with wonderful weather. It was suppose to rain. I was nervous about having to cross by boat, but the current wasn't that strong. We did have to haul our canoe up a large hill and Kyle broke his sandals in the process. It was a trip to remember and it was a needed break from the kids.
