A Castle picture Kyle took!
The girls made this poster for Kyle.
Kyle went on a trip to Budapest Hungary last week. He went with his 2 older Brothers Steve and Tj. Tj had an speaking assignment there. They lived in Germany as children. So they rented a car and went there. They went to the house they lived in and explored the woods where they use to play. They visited a few castles and also went to Vienna, Austria. I think they had a great time. Next time we think they should take their wives.

Lydia and the Chicken Pox
Well after Belle had the chicken pox I expected Lydia to get them. It was taking so long to get them we were almost to the last day of incubation period and I thought maybe she won't get them. On the 14th day she broke out. So I have been busy taking care of another sick child.
Miley and the Trip to Emergency Room
She doesn't look very happy.
As most of you know Kyle is out of town this week. So on Monday the girls were suppose to be getting ready to load firewood onto the porch. When they were playing with sticks. Trying to break the ice. When the stick slipped out of Miley's hand and jabbed her in the eye. I was just about to walk out the door when I heard screaming. Miley is screaming I jabbed a stick in my eye. Well I looked at it and there was a blood blister like mark in her eye. It wasn't bleeding outside the eye. I gave her a cold wash cloth and had her lay down. While I called my Mom. She called my Dad and my Brother and they came and gave her a blessing. The blessing made the pain stop.I called the consulting nurse. They said to bring her in. Miley asked that my Mom come with us to the Emergency Room. I decided to take her to Marybridge childrens Hospital. The wait was forever and there was a ton of very sick people there. We were finally seen by the doctor. He said that is was bruised and gave her an antibiotic ointment for her eye. She is to put warm wash cloth on her eye 4 times a day to promote tears. Which will promote faster healing. So she is doing well. She doesn't really like the eye ointment. She can see fine and all is well. Her biggest complaint was when she went to school everyone kept telling her "Did you know your eye is bleeding?".Then she has to explain what happened.

Belle's First Cup Cake Baking
Today Belle and I were trying to decide what kind of dessert to have for family home evening. I said how about root beer floats. It is nice and easy open the ice cream, put it in the cup and add the root beer. Oh, no Belle was insistent that we make cup cakes. They aren't that hard I just don't like to bake much. I kept trying to talk her out of it. When she started to try and climb to my top shelf of the pantry I knew I was never going to talk her out of it. So we decided that we would make a white cake. So I started making the cake. I asked her if she would like to make the cake another color and of course she wanted it to be pink. So I let her put a few drops of red food coloring in it. She was going to use the mixer but I think it scared her a little bit and she told me that I could do it. So she put the cup cake papers in the pan and then filled them all with the batter. We went to the pantry to pick out frosting and all I had was lemon and 5 different kinds of chocolate frosting. I guess I like chocolate. She chose chocolate! Well they turned out great. After FHE they all frosted their own cup cakes. I think it was a hit. Here are some Pictures of our fun little adventure.
Happy Birthday Miley
We celebrated Miley's Birthday sunday. Her Birthday is tomorrow. She is turning 7 years old. She decided to have a Birthday Party with her cousin Ava. Her Birthday is the day before hers. They had a great time. We had cake and ice cream and presents and the party bags. It was only the Hoisington clan and it was at Grandma Hoisingtons too. The sad part was that Belle and Lydia stayed home with Daddy. The Chicken Pox just ruin everything. To tell you the truth I think they enjoyed it more. They had their party bags at the house and was able to play with there Dad by themselves.

Chicken Pox's
Today, I woke up and woke the girls up. Miley and Gabby got ready and ate Breakfast.Gabby needed to finish her homework. When it was time to leave for the bus she wasn't finished. So I left her at home with the girls. My brother and his wife are living with us. So they were not alone. It is my week to drive to the bus stop. I dropped off kids at the bus. When I came back Gabby said she had finished her work but her stomach was hurting. I said well I am going to put Lydia in the bath since she had syrup in her hair and we will see how you are feeling. I bathed Lydia got her out and Belle jumped in. I dressed Lydia and came back to get Belle out and to my surprise she had chicken pox's. So that put a stop to me running any errands. So she spent the day laying down doing her favorite thing watching TV. So if you don't see much of me for the next 3 weeks or so you know why. I am sure Lydia will get it in 2 weeks or so. Gabby and Miley already had them. Yeah for them!

We woke up on Tuesday to everything white. The best part was there was no school and the girls were able to play in it. Gabby decided to go out first and she made a pumpkin. Miley went out next and they started playing. By the time I had the other 2 girls all bundled up. Gabby decided that she was done playing in the snow. So she isn't in any of the pictures I took. Miley and Belle decided to make a snowman it turned out pretty cute. Lydia just liked walking around in the snow. We did make it down the hill once with us all on the sled me included. The ride down was slow since the snow was pretty wet. It had already started raining by the time we all went outside to play.

Christmas
Christmas was a hit at our house. Santa did come even though we threaten to email Santa and tell him how the girls were not listening. Lydia received a Winnie the Pooh riding toy, Gabby an Gabrella (High School Musical Barbie), Miley an Hannah Montana doll, Belle a cd/radio to listen to stories when falling asleep. The hit thing though for the girls was a bunk bed. They were so excited and they have a lot more room to play. It was a busy day as always. We started out at our house with Santa gifts and then our Christmas gifts to each other.
Then we were off to Gramy and Papa's for Swedish Pancakes and gifts. Then from there it was off to Grandma Hoisingtons for lunch/dinner. After dinner we(Kyle and all of his siblings and spouses) all decided to go to the movies. We also took Gabby and Miley. We went and saw National Treasure Book of Secrets. It was intense and I was a little worried about Miley. I kept asking her if she was okay. They both loved the movie. When the movie was over it was back to Grandma Hoisington for the cousin gift exchange. They all seemed to enjoy there gifts. The big gift was from Grandma Hoisington. She bought a Wii for the grandkids.(stays at her house) I think she wanted something so that the older kids still want to come to her house. Plus a Wii is tons of fun! So it was a fun filled day.
