Pictures of the Girls

We just finally had the time to get the girls pictures taken. Kyle took out his photography stuff and we set it up in the family room. It was a little stressful as pictures always are. Lydia decided to cry after Kyle moved her back because she was too close to the camera. Gabby loves to pose for the camera. Miley did pretty well herself. Belle just did it because her sisters were and we were making them. There are some pretty funny shots.I hope you all enjoy them. They are on the slide show.

First Snow of Season

The first snow this season it snowed all afternoon. There wasn't enough snow to play in until just after dark. All the neighbor kids came and played in our backyard. We live on a hill and our backyard is a hill. So they came over to sled. The only problem was is wasn't very good sleding snow. So they just ended up building snowmen instead. The snow didn't last long by morning it was pretty much gone. It started raining during the night. It is never fun to play in the snow when it is raining. Hopefully we will get some more snow this season.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was so much fun. We had my Grandpa and his wife Diane here.It was the first time in 4 years that they were able to visit. My brother Erik and Candace(his girl friend) came too. So it was my Grandpa and my two little sisters Alisa and Chelsea and my parents and my uncle Robert.

It was also my first time having Thanksgiving dinner at my house. My mom decided that my house is bigger and that I needed to have Thanksgiving here. It was fun and a lot of work.

Halloween

I know this is a little late since it is December. Here is some pictures from Halloween. Kyle's Mom always has the great pumpkin come to her house. She makes fun bags for all the grand kids. She turns out all of the lights and each child gets a flashlight. Then they go on a hunt for their bags. This year the great pumpkin hid them pretty hard. Someone's was in the washer another in the microwave and the hardest was underneath a drawer.

Our Newest Addition

Today our new wood stove was installed. We were pretty excited we all sat around living room and enjoyed just watching fire. I am a little worried about Lydia. I am so afraid she is going to get burned. So we are investing in a gate. Kyle built the fireplace pad and we are pretty excited. You should of seen the two of us trying to carry it in the house. I am sure all the neighbors were laughing. I think it weighs 200 - 300 lbs. Then for F.H.E. we watched Evan Almighty. It was pretty cute and the girls loved it.

Lydia and the Kitchen drawer

A couple weeks ago when I was working in kitchen. I turned around and saw the cutest and most adorable thing. Lydia decided she was going to make the Kitchen drawer some thing to play in. She got into the drawer and decided it was the best place to play. So I took pictures.

Windstorm

This our first time doing the blog. We just had a windstorm a few days ago. The trees were whipping around. The girls and their Cousin Simon were watching from their bedroom window when they saw a tree come down in our yard. They came down so excited. " We saw a tree fall it is so cool!" The power went out and they enjoyed playing hide and go seek with flashlights. We ended up making dinner on the BBQ. We had hamburgers Yum! We did homework under a lantern. I am thankful to have power.

Today we had to clean up the trees that fell. Kyle got the chainsaw out and they girls helped pick up the wood and put it in the truck. We had a good time at least Gabby and Miley did. Belle and Lydia ended up inside with me due to the cold.
