Goodbye Great Grandma Edwards

A few days ago we received a call that Kyle's Grandma had a stroke and was in the hospital. They thought she might not make it very long so we went down to the hospital to say our goodbye's. She was so tired she could hear us talk to her and I told her we loved her and she tried to say I love you. When my mother in law asked her if she could hear us she shook her head yes. Then when she said can you open your eyes she said yes. Brenda said, Are you too tired to open your eyes and she shook her head yes. I thought that was kind of cute. She passed away last night. We will miss her. She was 91 and the sweetest lady. She had the best memory and tell us neat stories about what is was like here when she was a child. We would take a lunch and visit after church on Sundays. On our last visit it was just Kyle and I and the 3 youngest. Belle and Lydia stayed outside and played in her yard. The grand children love to play in her yard. We had a good visit with her. I will miss those visits.
Great Grandma Edwards we will miss you! We love you!

Alisa's Dance Class
My little sister Alisa taught dance classes all fall until December in our garage. This was her afternoon class. Miley and Gabby were her assistants.
Miley's 10th Birthday! Better Late than Never!
I know this party is a little late since her birthday is in January, but we had the party scheduled for a couple weeks before and we had to cancel because Miley had the flu. We had 8 girls stay the night. They played the game where you put makeup on each other from behind. They all dressed up in dress up clothes the someone else picked out for them. They walked down the run way. They played Just Dance 2 all night and watched a couple movies too. Miley wanted Kyle's home made pizza. It was so Yummy, he cooks it on the BBQ. It only takes 6 min a pizza. Instead of cake she wanted dessert pizza we had cherry and apple cinnamon. They were very good. Kyle always does a great job at what ever he cooks. The girls stayed up until 3AM when I put my foot down and kept shushing them until they stopped talking and went to sleep. They woke up to blue huckleberry pancakes. I think it was a fun time for everyone involved.
Sunday Creativity
We now have early church. So towards the end of Feburary on a sunny but cold day the girls wanted to go outside.
I said as long as they were bundled up and not running around they could be outside. So they started playing pioneer and the wagon was their wagon. They were Joseph Smiths cousins. They pretended to get water from the stream and were just having a great time. As you can see they were bundled up and in blankets. Since Kyle ancestors are cousins to Joseph they were not far off. They played all afternoon until just before dark. I kept going out asking them if they were staying warm enough. It was nice and quiet all afternoon I think we even took a nap.
