Waterslide fun on the Fourth of July
We woke up on the fourth and we all put on 4Th of July T-shirts. Thanks to Walmart and their $2.50 shirts. We ate breakfast and went on our way to getting ready for the water park. Bathing suits, sunscreen water socks and some good clean fun.
We ate lunch at the park in the motor home. Then we all were able to get the group rate and we were in. My girls do not do water very well. So we were worried we wouldn't get our monies worth. It worked out great the kiddie area had it's own slides and squirting things. Lydia and Gabby loved the lazy river. Belle and Miley hated the river. Gabby and Miley liked the big water slides. Gabby decided to go on the slides with her cousins. She had a blast.
It was so much fun I think we will do Wild Waves next Summer.
The Fireworks at the Reunion
Reunion Tent City
We made it to Nampa on Thursday and it was hot close to 100 degrees. We set up our tent in the yard of the Holadays. Along with 5 other families. To counter the heat Kyle bought a fan and an extension cord. Which worked well. It was so fun to camp with all of the family.
Once we were settled and ate we found out that Cousin Doug was doing a Firework Show that night. So we all lined up our chairs to watch along with a whole bunch of people from their ward. They counted at least 30 children and that didn't count the adults. After the firework show. All of the kids were able to do some Sparklers. It was a lot of fun. Lydia slept most of the show on Grandma's lap.
Camping Fun!
We went on a trip to Idaho for the Smith Family Reunion (Kyle's family)(Yes he is related to Joseph Smith) So on our way to Nampa we camped in Pendelton,OR. At Emmigrant Springs State Park. We camped with Kyle's brother and his kids and Kyle's Mom. (His brother's wife had to work) It was alot of fun!!

Gardening fun!
This year we decided to plant a garden. So we made a new area in the yard. There use to be tons of blackberry and salmonberries there. We decide to make raised beds. We also put a fence up to keep the rabbits out. So far so good no rabbits. Our biggest problem so far has been the slugs. They ate all my zucchini plants and cucumbers. So I had to go and buy more. I planted them and then put out some deadline. That night I think I killed 20 slugs yeah! I usually don't like killing things but if they are going to keep eating my plants they have to go.
My only problem with were we made our garden it is under a tree that was poor planning on our part. It doesn't get as much sun as it should. The garden is still doing well. We will probably move it again next year.
Happy 80th Birthday Grandpa
We just wanted to wish my fantastically handsome Grandpa Happy Birthday!! I hope your Birthday is filled with joy and happiness. I wish I could be there for the big shin dig!! I love you Grandpa!

Campfire At Our House
The last couple of days Kyle has been working in our yard. He has been using a bulldozer and Excavator. He has been flattening rough spots and moving rocks etc. As he was flattening an area he came across alot of boulders and he decided to make a new Camp fire pit.
So tonight we decided to have a campfire. We bought Subway Sandwiches $5 foot long what a deal. So we ate around the campfire then we made smores. It was alot of fun! We placed this fire pit on our lower property which you have to go through a trail to get to it from the house. It felt like we were camping and then we get to go back up to our house and sleep in our beds instead of a tent. The only problem with it being so close to the house is I ended up running back and forth between the house and the fire pit most of the time. Someone either had to use the restroom or I forgot something up at the house and had to go back and get it.
If any of you are in the mood for a campfire or would like to come over for smores night at the Hoisingtons please let me know.
Shout Out to Good Neighbors
All the kids after an afternoon of sprinkler fun!
My house these days has become the neighborhood play place. Usually I have two to six extra kids. It is a lot of fun for my girls they never have to go very far to have someone to play with. This neighborhood that we moved into has been great for our children.
I have one neighbor who has five children and she home schools them all. I admire her I think I would go crazy. I need that break when my kids go to school.
Kyle's best friend lives right next door. I have known both of them since Jr. High. They are so fun and we are so glad we bought this land with them. We were able to get a good deal on the land if there were two buyers to buy the two lots. They have two boys that are so funny. We love Josh and Stephanie. We are so blessed to have great neighbors.
