This year for Spring Break we went to Seaside, Oregon. We stayed at Fort Stevens State Park in a yurt. We stayed in one a few years ago. We were there for Easter weekend. The kids Spring breaks were a week apart. So Miley, Belle and Lydia had spring Break the first full week of April off. Then they both had a week of school and then Gabby had her Spring Break. So we took the other kids out of school on Wednesday during her Break because she is now in High School. We headed south towards Oregon and got there in a little over 3 hours. We put all our stuff in our yurt and headed to the beach by the ship. We explored the ship and played on the beach. We then went to Costco for dinner and then back to our Yurt for a Movie and sleep!
We woke up and decided to go into Seaside to walk down the and look at all the shops. We stopped by one shop that had over 100 different flavors of Salt Water Taffy. We all picked some out. It was hard to decide. They were super Yummy. We went into the indoor shops and the kids rode the carousel. Bray Bray loved it! We then stopped by the hat store where we had tons of fun trying on hats. I even bought one that I totally love. We then did some more shopping and ended up on the beach. Where the kids swung on the swings and played in the sand.
This is at the Lewis and Clark monument!
Seaside Beach is so much fun!
We then went to lunch at this restaurant that had the
most delicious French Fries!
