A couple of Days ago it started snowing around 6 and by the time Kyle came home from Young Men there was 2 inches. So all the girls decided to go and play in the snow. We ended up measuring 3 1/2 inches. They sledded, built a snow man and played some more coming in around 11:30pm. The snow was perfect for both building snowmen and sledding. The last few times it was either sledding or snowmen. After they came in and had hot chocolate Kyle decided they should go out in the tent and sleep. So Miley and Belle and Kyle slept in the tent in the snow. The Tent was already set up from Kyle putting it up over the weekend.
There was no school the next day thank goodness. By the time my girls were up the rain had already destroyed the snowman and the snow was very slushy and wet. That doesn't mean they didn't go out in it and play. It just wasn't the same as the night before.

I gave too much credence to the weather report. I was afraid that the snow would be gone and there would be school the next day, so I didn't let my girls stay up and play. I've regretted it ever since. Good for you for letting them play, and kudos to Kyle for sleeping in the tent with them!
