50's School Dance

 

Gabby and Miley went to their first school dance. We borrowed poodle skirts from my Mom she is the best. They were Alisa and Chelsea's when they were little. I think they look so cute. They had a great time! The DJ was great and they had blast. I was always a little apprehensive about the girls going to a dance at school, but it was just fun and games. We will definitely go to the next one.

I am so thankful for my wondeful husband. It's been 13 wonderful years with you! Thanks for being my best friend. I love you!

Oops I cut my Hair Mom!

Yesterday, Belle came downstairs and said "Lydia cut her hair again." She took the scissors away and then went and got the hair to show me. Lydia did not want to come downstairs. She cut off 2 inches on one side of her hair. So we called my sister Krista who is cosmetologist and asked her if she could bring her scissors. She was coming over to help babysit my kids anyway. So Lydia now has a new cute hair style. Thank You Krista you are the Best!!

Little Girls Own Science Project

 

Belle saw on the movie the rescuers that the girl put a note in a bottle. So she found 2 pop bottles and decided that they were going to have there own experiment. They took the labels off and wrote their own notes and put them in the bottles. They then filled the bath tub with water and put the bottles in them to see if they float. They came running down stairs and said "Mom come look it worked". They were so cute. So I had to take a picture. They were so proud of themselves. I love these two little girls. I think watching Gabby doing her experiment inspired Belle. They then didn't waste the warm water they took a bath!

Grandpa Brown's

On our way from Grandpa Meyer's we stopped and visited my Aunt Kelly. We had a nice visit, it had been a really long time since I had seen her. She's a teacher and gave me a lot of ideas of books for Gabby and Miley to read. Thanks Kelly you are the best.

We then went on our way to my Grandpa Brown's in Redondo Beach,CA. We were able to see a lot of family mostly cousins and aunts while staying their. We went to the beach, to frozen yogurt, to the pier, out to dinner, the 99 cent store. Lilly was the hit of the party forget about Kyle and I.(they were glad to see us too) They all just wanted to hold her and play with her. We were able to spend most of the time with grandpa. Ian came over with Wyatt and visited. Wyatt is a hoot! Megan came on Sunday to visit she went to the beach with us and put Lilly in the sand for her first time, which she did not like. We then went to yogurt with Emily and Nancy. Last time we visited we went with Emily to Pink Berry. So we told her we wanted to go again. She said there was a new place closer called Menchies it's frozen yogurt. It was Yummy! (Guess what we found one in Federal Way!)We then spent the evening with Grandpa and Peggy. Kasey came over to visit too. Monday Kyle had to work so my Dad came up from San Diego. We went to Breakfast and then to the Pier. It was so nice to just be in the sun. We had a great time. Then Grandpa wanted to take me to the 99 cent store. It was huge. There was a lot of stuff. We were flying and couldn't bring a lot of stuff back. Kyle came home and we hung out some more and then went to dinner with my Dad. It was nice. We left the next day to come home.

Date Shake Fun!

 

On our way out of town from visiting my Grandpa and Diane we stopped and had a Date Shake. It was really good! They are famous for their dates. The picture of Lilly is her having a bite(her first shake)!

Visit to Grandpa and Diane

We Flew into LA on Friday and then drove to Palm Springs area to visit my Grandpa Meyer and Diane! We spent the evening with them and went to dinner. Stayed visiting with them until late. We stayed in a nice hotel then we met the next day for Breakfast. My Dad and Aunt met us for breakfast. My Dad is working in San Diego. We had a great visit with them.
