Fun at Gigi's

This week my Grandma wanted my two little girls and Carlee's two little ones to come over and visit. They had such a great time. Gigi had a find the toys scavenger hunt. She cleaned up an old doll house and the kids loved it. We had lunch and we all just hung out. Gigi we love you!!! I just wish I would of taken a picture of them with her.

Belle Lost her First Tooth

 

On Wednesday Belle came to me saying I lost my tooth Mom. It didn't even bleed or anything. She was so cute! She then had to call her Dad at work and tell him all about it. We then put it in a ziplock bag so she wouldn't lose it. When I lost my first tooth I dropped it on the floor and it blended into the floor and we never found it. She showed everyone she was so excited. When the girls came home from school Gabby helped Belle write the Tooth Fairy a note. We stuck it in the bag with the tooth under her pillow. In the morning Belle had $2.00 from the Tooth Fairy a dollar and a dollar in change.

Fun in the Sun

A few weeks ago it was so sunny a couple of days that the girls decided they had to wear their sunglasses. Then they jumped on the trampoline they were so excited not to be inside.

Miley's Baptism

Her baptism was on the 21st of Feburary. We had it on the Stake Night. She was lucky it was with one another girl from our ward. After the baptism everyone came to our house for Desserts. We all had a wonderful time. It was nice for everyone to get together.

I can't beleive that I have two children that are baptised now!!

Early 12th Anniversary Trip

 

We decided to take our Anniversary trip early this year because the baby is due in April and we thought going at the end of March, I would be just too uncomfortable. So it took us awhile to decide on the place and how long we would go. We finally ended up going to Victoria, BC. We have been there before but never by ourselves. My sister works at a hotel and was able to get us a friends and family discount for us. We were about 2 blocks from the main road. When we first got off the ferry we started walking in the cold and the wind and I thought we were not going to make it since we weren't sure how far the hotel was away. So we took a taxi and it ended up going 2 blocks away and charged us 5.00. After that I was determined to walk every where. I didn't think to bring gloves and a hat and I was freezing. So we bought some they defiantly were not that attractive but they sure did the job. We went to some pretty awesome places to eat, our favorite was eating at an Irish place where they had live Irish singers. The food was great too. On our way back to the hotel we had to stop by the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory they have the best Carmel Apples.(We usually buy them at Whistler every year) It was so Yummy!!!

When we decided that we were going to be going to Victoria I asked Kyle if we could eat at the Royal Empress Hotel. We had decided that we wanted to eat there for lunch on Saturday. So we dressed up a little nicer then jeans. When we finally went there we found out you needed an reservation. We hadn't even thought about needing a reservation. The only opening was for the next day after the time of our ferry leaving. I was a little disappointed but it was my fault I didn't think about reservations. So we walked around the hotel it was lovely. It was also Valentines Day! So if you ever want to eat at the Empress make sure to make reservations a couple days in advance.

We decided to check out the Parliament building. When we went there they were closed. We found out there was going to be a protest march coming soon. So we decided to stay and watch. It was a Native American Group trying to bring attention to the fact that women are being taken from there tribes every year and our never found. Lost women ranging from now and back 20 years totaling 500.

I was ready to take a break so we headed back to the hotel. We decided to stop at the restaurant under our hotel. We ordered our food to go and ate in our hotel and rested awhile. It was so nice to just relax reading and napping. We went to dinner later that night. The next day went to breakfast and then headed our way back to the ferry. We had a wonderful time. I would do it again but next time not being so pregnant. That was hardest part I think.

Miley's 8th Birthday Party

 

For Miley's Birthday she really wanted to have a Slumber Party Hannah Montana Party. So she asked my sister Krista if she could come and do all the girls hair. So they all had there hair done and pictures taken. We had dinner beef strognoff, green beans and canned fruit. It seemed to be a hit. We then did karaoke and they just played. We also did some relay races and played some games. Around 10:00pm I finally was able to get them all settled down and they watched The Night at the Museum. The funny thing is that my 4 girls fell asleep first. Everyone else was mostly awake. So we tried just laying down and going to sleep and that wasn't working. So I decided to pick a movie that all the girls would like that wasn't really exciting. So we chose Mary Poppins and it worked like a charm. I thought they were all asleep and I went to bed. In the morning during breakfast one of the girls said she didn't go to sleep until 2or 3am. She had her eyes closed so I assumed she was asleep. The good thing was she let everyone else sleep. The girls had banana pancakes for breakfast. Then they all dressed up. We picked up the sleeping bags and they all played for a little while and then there parents came and picked them all up. They all seemed to have a great time!

It was fun to watch them all just have fun.

Science Center Fun!

I know it has been a little while since I last blogged. At the beginning of January we went on Day Trip to the Science Center with our Friends the Bushmans. It was a lot of fun. There were Dinosaur, a lot of fun Science Stuff, Butterfly house, Music Room and of course the Ferry ride. We had so much fun and since our family is so big we decided to buy a year pass to get in for just a little bit more. So you may be seeing many more trips to come.
